We provided project management services on the development of a small business village on the harbour-side at Amble. The aim of the Harbour Village project was to transform Amble into a visitor destination excelling in seafood, attract new visitors, create new jobs and help to sustain the wider economy of the area Works included a new Seafood Centre supplying wholesale, retail and individual customers with fish caught off the Northumberland coast and 15 retail pods selling a range of individual art, bespoke gifts and crafts, accessories, food and drink. New public realm and a harbourside walkway was also provided. The project was a partnership between Northumberland County Council, Arch, the Northumberland Development Company, Amble Development Trust and Amble Town Council, with funding from UK Government’s Coastal Communities Fund
