We provided Project and Cost Management services on this major infrastructure project at Newcastle Great Park. Works included a 2.2km spine road, with segregated shared footways and cycleways, providing a continuous vehicle link through the Park from Kingston Park Road in the south-west to junction 79 of the A1(M) at North Brunton Interchange 7. The new road connects Wagonway Drive with Kingston Park Road via Brunton Lane. The project included re-routing of a water course and the installation of a new attenuation system, construction of two 300m long swales and the installation of a bridge over the river Ouseburn.
